The default minimum age is generally based on content descriptors generated from the experience questionnaire, but can be adjusted based on creator settings, user settings, or parental controls. You can still edit and test unrated experiences in Studio, and you can restore public access at any time by completing the questionnaire. To ensure your experience remains playable for users, simply complete the Maturity & Compliance questionnaire for unrated experiences by September 30. We believe every public experience on Roblox should have a content maturity label so users and parents can make informed decisions about experiences they play.
This is why inputting confidential information into AI’s is a mistake that unfortunately, a lot of people are making. EVERY prompt, EVERY generation, and (by the looks of it) all game files. Not everyone has a $1M budget to build a high-end title like Stardew Valley or Celeste, this levels the playing field. You said the cost is cheaper than ChatGPT but GPT plus is $20 a month which is the same as your pro version.image1268× KB You seem to have massive experience on Roblox development just like me as you mentioned “Rojo”, and might not need this product. For advanced coders, ECS framework https://www.redlion.casino/ is coming soon.

Mirrors do not build, they reflect, and if you prompt it to build you a game then sure, it will. Or will they become curators of games they never really developed, caretakers of unknowable architectures? AI has am amazing ability to assist us in learning and help us search through hundreds of lines of code for a bug that appeared out of nowhere.
- Photos and videos collected through ID Verification and Facial Age Estimation are not considered biometric data, and are not retained and deleted immediately after processing.
- We strongly suggest that you post your feature idea either here or in our server for developer approval first.
- Games with mild repeated violence (most Roblox games with violence) aren’t age gated by default; parents can manually restrict children from accessing games with any violence, but this is probably a fraction of a percent of users.
- I understand this is very barebones at the moment and it will be improved in a future update with the appropriate API to check via your own app.
- I have over 9 years of experience making Roblox games now.
What happens if moderation rejects my questionnaire?
Just a reminder that the deadline to complete the Maturity & Compliance questionnaire is September 30th. Every time Roblox force closes, the logs don’t show anything. The logs do not show anything out of the ordinary which makes it extremely difficult to show what even happened in the first place. Yeah im having this issue too or someting
- Thanks now I cant even trust basic games to not be made of AI slop!
- Roblox should NOT be making experiences that have no age rating inaccessible.
- Ok, well I guess there must have been a recent change made for that then when Roblox started adding 5+ to age recommendations last week.
- Your experience will go live again as soon as it has a content maturity label.
- To achieve this goal, we are asking creators who have not already, to complete the Maturity & Compliance questionnaire by September 30, 2025 to ensure their experiences remain playable.
- If you want to save the planet, optimize your game scripts too
- The logs in AppData/Local/Roblox/Logs don’t seem to show any references to any errors happening, they just abruptly end.
Another thing is that this will affect older showcase games or open source places like Iris – Demonstration You seriously are disconnected from the platform if you think most developers have the time in a month to answer a questionaire for every game they’ve ever made, a lot of smaller developers simply do not have the time! There is no reason to do this, this will permanently stop us accessing old games, there are simply far too many for us to tell you to unlock, that’s a bandaid solution to this abysmal decision. We shouldn’t need to update questionaires if our answer still results in the same age rating. Unless there was a recent change made, games with mild repeated violence were always rated as 9+. At the end of the day, the Roblox playerbase is large and diverse enough that there will always be an audience for your game, regardless of what age restrictions or other maturity limits you add.
But what about Blox Fruits and 99 Nights in the Forest using weapons? To me I feel like if an Restricted Experience (17+) Changes their survey a Moderator has to Manually check and validate it’s okay for Roblox. To me this is considered a huge oversight as I tried updating the questionnaire and it being completely unchangeable. I’d like to ask questions regarding restricted 17+ Experiences, as there is NO WAY to reinstate any other age rating below 17+ if you click yes into specific questions in the survey by mistake. Well, that is definitely a good reason and I stand corrected on Grow a Garden if they have implemented that, but what about Blox Fruits and 99 Nights in the Forest using weapons? So i really have to ask what is the issue this is trying to fix exactly?
Why BulletMindV1 Outperforms ChatGPT & Claude in Roblox Game Dev –…
When you see “-Beta,” that just means the model hasn’t been trained on all our high-quality data yet. You’re getting models that are ridiculously quick and ridiculously cheap. The real game-changer is the combination of speed and price. To me, this isn’t just about making money, it’s about making something ridiculously affordable and accessible. If you want to save the planet, optimize your game scripts too I mean… compared to people rendering full 4K animations or training LLMs from scratch?

Brazil Servers Coming Early 2026
Games with mild repeated violence (most Roblox games with violence) aren’t age gated by default; parents can manually restrict children from accessing games with any violence, but this is probably a fraction of a percent of users. I was working on an in development build of my game and set up the Questionnaire prematurely and put “Strong Language” When my game only contained a baseplate, Assets, and No code. I later get an email saying I need to update the questionnaire on all of my experiences or I risk moderation. Recently you guys added an update for “sensitive topics” and said in the devforum post to update the questionnaire only if our experiences contained sensitive topics.
A character, a storyline, a mechanic, an entire game. For a small price a game can be requested, and the machine obeys. Products like these will ruin the industry. Do you deadass need AI to make game’s of this quality too?
I’m aiming for an interface which is nice to look at but not form over function with pretty animations which are not hard to watch and i’m glad it didnt go down like my old module. With Administer, if I don’t want Announcements all I have to do is click a button and it’s gone. One of my favorite parts about Administer is you can list servers, see advanced player statistics, and more. Updating here incase you’re not in the server. Thank you, I’ll update it and push next release. I’d like to give a heads up that i updated my module yesterday for better performance
Will remove my original reply to the thread as it appears it may be inaccurate. Ok, well I guess there must have been a recent change made for that then when Roblox started adding 5+ to age recommendations last week. There’s no substantial downside to including mild repeated violence in a game; at most you’re locking out 0.5% of the playerbase.
This is an amazing update! I’d would also like to see an update to Robloxs lighting engine. Nice I use unions for all my builds, so this is going to help out a lot! Any idea when this will start rolling out to live servers? When will this feature arrive for viewport frames/if it’s ever planned? You can also compare the impact of Occlusion Culling by turning it on/off in the Beta Feature menu (requires a Studio restart).
The issue was a race condition with Mongo starting too slow on the VM and Administer was only waiting 3 seconds to boot. If you were having issues with anything you can retry now. Just pushed some hotfixes to a couple of apps.
They did say the same thing repeatedly, just mentioned all the users who could benefit. A little disappointing, but better late than never. You just rephrased the same thing that was said before multiple times. Better frame rates, response times, and reduced jitter for players across the country
Also, we are looking for QA members, come apply with this form! This update was mostly focused on the big 1st wave of redesigning the configuration menu. Has been fixed as of this commit, if you continue to have any issues please let me know!
